Belitung. Totally Cool and Beautiful.

Assalamualaikum

I m done with Belitung. Trust me, Belitung is so beautiful and tranquil. It is so uncontaminated. The sand is so white, the ocean is crystal clear, you can see the corals and fishes beneath it. It is so cool.

Sitting at the front of the fisherman boat, with around you, was the ocean, you will realize that how fragile a human being could be. To be born as a khalifah, we are weaker that the ocean, but then, that is the specialty of human being. We are weaker than His other creation but we are the best.

We had been dropped in the islands. Swam across an island to an island. Snorkeling in middle of the beautiful sea. Playing cradle on the beach while waiting for our lunch and so much more. It's felt so great, so peaceful and so damn beautiful.

The last day, we visited the school of Laskar Pelangi's shooting. It's old. The lessons of life does not depend on how modern the school is, but how the modesty mind could learn.

I used not into the ocean, because it is salty, hot and make you dark. But the trip to Belitung changed it. Now, I love the ocean more than I did before.

Suddenly, I remember my bedtime story about the ocean. My mom always told us the story when we were kids.

Millions years ago, the wind was living on the mountain. He always wondered what was the end of the river. He asked the mountain, but the mountain was so old, he can't even see. So, the mountain couldn't tell the wind anything. He asked the river, but the river was so long, she doesn't even know where her tail end. He asked the sky, but the sky was so high above. He wouldn't listen to him.

Then, he had made a decision. He must travel along the river. He was so curious and he was too young to listen to others. Then, the journey started. He walked along the river for weeks. He almost given up. But for some reasons he's not.

Then, one day, he found the end of the river. It was the ocean. He felt in love for the first time. He wished the ocean could know about it. But the ocean was so big, so deaf and so blind. He could not even told the ocean. Then, he made a decision, he will always be beside the ocean no matter what, although she not even notice of him.

That why, when you have been on the beach you will never see the ocean without the wind. The blow of the wind is the love that never end.

For me, what my mom tried to deliver here, it is not the love of a man and a woman. It's a love of the Creator to His creation. The love that never end like the ocean and the wind that will never stop.

Belitung. Thank you for everything. I'll see you again. InsyaAllah.

P/s= She always let go of my hand, and when I fell, she always be there and asked me "Do you hurt Fatihah Anisah?", "Yes, I am". She always gonna said "Good, then you will grow up". My mom is the best teacher, the best mother, the best friend out of the best, the best human being ever existed in my life.

Thank you mama.
